DataPacket Q3 2025: new regions, network growth, smarter panel
We’re evolving our infrastructure to ensure the continuity of our exceptional quality of service. That’s the term we hear back from our clients, at least. And Q3 2025 was no exception. Let’s take a closer look at what we’ve been up to.
TL;DR
- New DCs: Kuala Lumpur (live), Manchester (live), Seoul (live; initial batch sold out)
- Network: 39 new or upgraded interconnections across Europe, North America, APAC, and LATAM
- Platform & hardware: Post‑install scripts, Dark mode, and an AMD EPYC™ refresh across our CPU lineup
Coverage: three location milestones
In Q3, three new cities joined our global network, each boosting performance and reach in its region.
- Kuala Lumpur is live, delivering ultra‑low latency in Malaysia from the AIMS KL2 facility. We plan to connect it via a backbone link to our Singapore location next.
- Manchester is live, improving upon our London and Dublin capacity in Britain and Ireland from the Equinix data center.
- Seoul is live, but early demand sold out the first two hardware batches; more capacity is already inbound to the KINX Dogok facility.

Network: strengthening our global interconnection
We kept pushing edge proximity and strengthened our worldwide network with 39 new or upgraded connections. Here's our capacity increase in Q3 2025:
In total, we added 10,4 Tbps of capacity to our global network and 1 Tbps to our backbone.
Platform & hardware: faster setup, dark theme UI, upgraded CPU lineup
Post-install scripts
In Q3, we launched Post-install scripts, a powerful new automation feature that’s now available in your Client panel. Customize your servers and take care of repetitive tasks by adding your own script in Client panel → Provisioning settings.
This new feature comes in handy when you’re automating software installation, security hardening, performance tuning, or application deployment. Use the scripts to enable firewalls, configure users, set system resources limits, apply updates, and more.

Additionally, you can now switch to Dark mode in Client panel → General settings!
CPU lineup refresh
Last but not least, we replaced the prior Ryzen models with AMD EPYC™ equivalents. This change preserves the same clocks/core counts, but now on server-grade silicon for improved stability and sustained performance.

International Broadcasting Convention
A passing mention should be made of IBC 2025, which our COO Simon Rybisar attended this year. He had meaningful talks about infrastructure and trends. He's looking forward to meeting both new and familiar faces next year.
That’s a wrap on Q3 2025! Tuning routing efficiency, reinforcing backbone capacity, deploying edge hardware where it matters most, and above all, being the partner you can always rely on, remain our priority.
