What's new at DataPacket in Q3 2026?

Vladimir Hlocky Vladimir Hlocky

Hello there!

In Q3 2026, we added another 16.7 Tbps of capacity, expanded our anti-DDoS Full Shield protection to three more locations, gave you more control over your own IP space, and unveiled what’s next for our GPU lineup.

We also announced an important step for DataPacket’s next stage of growth.

Let’s take a closer look at everything mentioned above.

TL;DR

  • We added 16.7 Tbps of network capacity: 11.6 Tbps across regional connectivity and another 5.1 Tbps on our global backbone.
  • Full Shield expanded to Boston, Bogotá, and Montréal, adding our dedicated L4 anti-DDoS protection in all three locations.
  • Bring your own IP is now available directly in the client panel, with options for DataPacket-managed prefix announcements or your own BGP speakers.
  • NVIDIA Rubin GPUs are coming to DataPacket in H2 2027, while another batch of 8× NVIDIA HGX B300 servers is planned for January 2027. You can reserve capacity.
  • CVC joined DataPacket as a minority investor to support the next stage of our infrastructure growth.

Network adds 16.7 Tbps

Across Q3, we added 11.6 Tbps of regional capacity: 5.1 Tbps in North America, 2.3 Tbps in Europe, 2.1 Tbps in Asia-Pacific, 1.3 Tbps in Latin America, and 800 Gbps in the Middle East & Africa.

On top of that, we added another 5.1 Tbps to our global backbone, bringing the total capacity added during the quarter to 16.7 Tbps.

Full Shield expands to 3 more locations

Full Shield is our dedicated anti-DDoS hardware layer, adding L4 protocol-based protection on top of volumetric filtering. This quarter, Full Shield became available in Boston, Bogotá, and Montréal.

If you already have servers in these locations, you can enable Full Shield from the client panel at no extra cost.

Bring your own IP directly from the client panel

The new Bring your own IP section lets you configure your prefix and ASN directly from the client panel, with two setups depending on how much control you want over routing.

With IP prefix announcement, we handle the BGP announcement for you. You provide the parameters, we configure the prefix on our routers, and you can split it into subnets and choose how each one is delivered.

If you prefer to handle routing yourself, BGP servers give you that option too. Your routes are propagated through the DataPacket network while your own BGP speaker remains the next hop, leaving the announcements under your control.

NVIDIA Rubin & more HGX B300s

NVIDIA’s next-generation Rubin GPUs are coming to DataPacket in H2 2027. Demanding AI training, inference, and agentic workloads; you know the drill.

Before then, another batch of 8× NVIDIA HGX B300 servers is planned for January 2027 since demand for the first batch has been high. Both Rubin and the upcoming B300 capacity are available to pre-order. Let us know, or talk to your account manager. Custom requirements are welcome.

The next stage of DataPacket’s growth

And one more important update from Q3.

We brought on CVC as a minority investor through its Strategic Opportunities platform. We chose a partner that shares our long-term view and can help us accelerate what we already do.

For you, the important part is continuity. The same team continues to lead DataPacket, with the same focus on performance, reliability, and support. The investment just gives us more fuel for the direction we were already heading in: growing the infrastructure that global platforms already trust.

That’s it for Q3 2026.

See you soon again, and thank you for your trust!
